NANDI HILLS TRAIL Day Trek

Nandi hills – The hill that defines Bengaluru in many ways. From historical time, Nandi and the fort on its top have been significant. Geographically, many rivers of Karnataka originate from Nandi.
Every time I take off from Bangalore, this hill is what I see before the flight disappears into the clouds.

So we thought, what are we doing not climbing this?

This weekend, let’s do Nandi the proper way. We will climb the hill through the stairs path, which is lush, green and a moderate trek. After enjoying yummy breakfast at the top, and visiting the temple, pond and Tipu’s palace, we climb down and make a stop at the Bhoganandeeswara. This temple in an architecture marvel and a must see for anyone living in/ visiting Bangalore.
