Join us for an unforgettable mountain experience as we trek to Brahmagiri Peak (1,608m) from the serene forests of Thirunelli in Wayanad. This route is known for its gentle shola forests, rolling grassland ridges, wide panoramic views, and the mesmerizing valleys of both Wayanad and Coorg unfolding on either side. This is a guided, safe, and forest-approved route led by local experienced trekkers and forest guards.

We begin our journey from Bangalore and reach our cozy homestay nestled close to the Thirunelli Temple forest belt. On Day 2, we set out early for our summit push, trekking through misty meadows and golden hill slopes. The peak offers an expansive horizon and an overwhelming sense of calm.

On Day 3, depending on the group’s energy, we explore the Kuruva River Island boardwalk trails or venture towards the Pakshipathalam cave ridge, adding a refreshing blend of nature and adventure before we return home.

Stay: Dakshinakasi Guest House. Shared accommodation.

Itinerary:

Day 1

• Leave Bangalore in a comfortable vehicle on Jan 9th between 4 and 5 PM
• Reach Homestay by midnight. Rest up.

Day 2

• Have an early breakfast. Pack snacks and water for the day.
• Reach the trek start point at 7.30 AM.
• Get your ID and paperwork checked.
• Trek up to Brahamgiri peak and back (approx 12 km)
• Reach Homestay, have lunch and rest
• Walk to the ancient Thirunelli temple

Day 3

• Leave at 7 AM for the Kuruva Island OR Pakshipathalam cave ridge OR Irpu falls
• Return by 12 noon
• Check out from the homestay. Reach Bangalore by 9 PM. (Lunch on the way)
