A walk around Hesaraghatta

FULL MOON TREK Day Trek

There’s something special happening in the skies on March 3. It is the Holi full moon, and this time it comes to us with a lunar eclipse. While the eclipse is visible in India, we will only see the tail end of it when the moon rises.

Imagine this. It’s a full moon, but what you see rising is a partially eclipsed moon.

Do you belong to the moon tribe? Then you don’t want to miss this. A short and easy hike at Hesaraghatta Lake will give us the front seat view of this astronomical event. It’s a Tuesday, but you can wrap up work at 3 PM for this special full moon, can’t you? Get your backpack ready for 03 March 2026.

We leave MG road at 3.30 PM and will be back in the city by 9.30 PM.
